Jon Charnas

Vice President

Jon welcomes the challenge of making the right match of client and apartment. He approaches each client with enthusiasm, energy and attention to detail. Working on both corporate relocations and apartment sales, he also recently sold a theater, a first for the agency.

A NYC native, he was raised on the Upper West Side, but also has lived in several other areas of Manhattan. He has owned homes in the NYC area, and has served on the board of his West Side Cooperative.

Following college, he worked in Europe for a year, then taught public school in New England while fulfilling his military obligation.

Upon returning to New York, he was employed in various phases of the textiles industry, including many years in sales for several prestigious garment manufacturers. He also contributed articles to textiles trade publications and served on industry safety committees. In addition to volunteering in political campaigns and public service organizatioins, he has pursued interests in bicycling and theater and has appeared in occasional television commercials.
