Ellen Monness

Vice President

With more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, Ellen Monness has proven to be an invaluable resource to Fox Residential Group as she helps sellers find the right buyers and buyers imagine the potential of a living space. As a Vice President of Fox and an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY), she is intimately familiar with the inner workings of the city and has closed numerous sales in the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Sutton, Tribeca and Chelsea.

Ms. Monness is also an officer of the Board of Managers of her condominium association and currently serves as President, experience that has greatly helped her become a top broker. Prior to joining Fox Residential Group, she held positions in a variety of industries that included her own wholesale food business, Just Desserts, and Director of the Mother-Child Home Program in Oyster Bay, NY, a nationally recognized educational project for low-income families.

Ms. Monness’s busy schedule includes spending time with her large, close family and volunteering weekly at the McCarton School, a school for autistic children. She is an avid tennis player and thoroughly enjoys health and fitness activities. A native New Yorker, she takes full advantage of everything the city has to offer, from the ballet and theater to the New York Times crossword puzzle.
