Rob Taub Vice President, Director of Townhouse Sales
A native New Yorker, Rob Taub became a licensed agent at age 19, while working in his mother’s real estate office during his college summer vacations. After graduating from Ithaca College, he went on to an award-winning career in television, writing and producing a wide range of programming spanning from CBS’s “Eye on People” to “World Wrestling Entertainment”. Rob has also written for many well known publications and he is a regular contributor to the book review section of PEOPLE Magazine.
Rob served as the board president of a prominent Upper East Side building for 15 years and has owned numerous properties in Manhattan as well as the tri-state area since 1983. This experience has proved invaluable in his real estate career where he enjoys the entire process of a transaction: searching for a property, promoting a new listing, negotiating a deal and working with both buyers and sellers.
Rob is a collector of vintage wristwatches from the 1950’s and an avid theatergoer. His own work, “Out of the Rough”, was presented at Lincoln Center by the Writers Guild of America as part of its prestigious staged reading program. He is a member of the Friar’s Club and the Metropolitan Club. Rob is the father of two children and currently resides on the upper east side of Manhattan with his dog, Blue. |
